Paintings by Debra Bailey
Fine Art with works ranging from representational to abstract

Debra Bailey

Debra's painting began after a successful career in financial planning.  Her art has developed through studies at Fanshawe College and with a number of London and area artists.  Debra has studied at the Southampton School of Art, with Johannes Vloothius and countless workshops sponsored by the Brush & Palette Club of London.

Debra paints in her home studio using acrylics, oils and watercolor. Paintings featuring figurative and portrait work hold her interest as well as the natural beauty of the Canadian landscape.  Her work is shown locally and her paintings hang in private collections in Canada, the United States and overseas.

Debra was one of the people instrumental in opening a co-op art gallery in Grand Bend named Sunset Arts and was also a board member of The Grand Bend Art Center prior to moving back to London.

Currently she is a member of the Brush & Palette Club, Lambeth Art Association,  and Nine Fine Artists.

Previously she chaired the Special Events and Activities for the Society of Canadian Artists headquartered in Toronto.

Debra has been juried into a number of area shows.  To name a few, Art in The Heart (St.Paul's), Paint Ontario (Grand Bend) and Lambeth Art Gallery (Lambeth).

While wintering in Florida, Debra leads a painting group and paints with a number of local area artists.
